bought new parking brake lines so I could go ahead and install the drum brake parts. Also ordered some Viking smooth body double adjustable shocks for the rear to match the front. I figured I would be buying new drop shocks anyway, so why not spend a little more for quality shocks

Craigslist find - 2007 4L85E out of a duramax van with 66k miles. Complete with yoke, bottom cover, bolts, TC, etc.. Not bad if it's what he said it is. Paid $700

Bought this to be able to tune remotely with Nelson in San Antonio. Will still take it to him for dyno tune with the turbo, but this way he can upload files for me when I do little stuff like gear change, tire swap, etc...

Why not just buy the HP Tuners yourself? The price is basically the same for both and HPT will have more features to use.

That way no middle man when you need to change small stuff on your own, they can still do the tuning for you but all the other stuff you can do and tweak to your liking.

Listen to the dude above. Buy HPTuners and he can still remote in or email tunes/logs back and forth. That other thing is a waist.

I have no desire to tune myself, it's one thing I will always take to others. The product is great, I had one on my duramax. Allows you to see exact temps or pressures the factory cluster cannot precisely measure. If I wanted to do that with HPT I would need a laptop (which I don't own) sitting in my passenger seat. This made way more sense given my situation because I don't have any tablets, any laptops, and no desire to ever tune myself.

edit: it also solves my problem of not having a way to check CELs. I had to drive to autozone the other day to get one read, which I hate doing. This unit reads and clears DTCs. It basically checks every box for what I need out of a device. The only downside is mounting the unit in a clean spot

Forgot to upload these. Went to the junkyard and got a drivers manifold. Going to clean it up and drop it off for ceramic coating with the other hot parts. The brackets will be cleaned up and painted as part of my engine dress-up mods
