Seems a bit laggy but looked like a solid pull. No hopping which is good. What was the distance? Looked like a full 300’.

I waited a bit to get on the pedal. Just wanted to make sure it felt right. It did have a little lag also. Pulled 310 feet. Top of the track was rough. Trucks bounced in the same spot throughout the event. Came in second place in my class.

Summit pistons ands rods also sound attractive.
We like what you're thinking Our 2618 alloy Pro LS pistons and 4340 forged H-beam rods are up to the task. They were designed with boost in mind.

Being boosted we'd go with our 12cc dished pistons. Using a .051" head gasket and 71cc 317 heads that would put you around 9:1 compression. For the 6.0 in a standard stroke, we have those available in the standard bore, .005" over, .030" over, or .040" over. They also come in a piston and rod combo with a premium file-fit ring pack. We offer the combos with a 6.098" rod or 6.125".

- For the 12cc dished piston and 6.098" rod combos check here.
- For the 12cc dished piston and 6.125" rod combos check here.

Ok went to the dyno today. Truck just had issues from the get go. Literally wanted to die every time you’d try and go into drive. Raised idle speed and that cured it.

We did pulls in 2nd gear too keep the driveshaft in it. Still did 120 mph wheelspeed though which kinda made me nervous.

The numbers that it spit out seemed really sad. I think the combination of 2nd gear and a really heavy 35” tire are to blame and/or it’s just a brutally honest dyno.

I was really pleased with how the graph looked though. It looked really smooth and not super jagged. Thing sound really good too.

truck was on 12 psi 12 degrees.

Plug was damn near perfect looking.

We planned to crank up the boost and we turned up the manual boost controller all the way but couldn’t get more than 12.9 to 13 psi out of it. So the manual boost controller I got from eBay ended up being trash. (Go figure).

Over all good experience. Learned some stuff. Want to try a stock size tire next time and see what the power difference is. Also would like to get a 2 piece driveshaft in it so we can rip it in 3rd gear too.

Excellent thread man, very impressed...

Apparently you live in or around Sidney??

I'm a couple hundred miles south of you on the ND/SD border.

I'd like to look this thing over in person some time.
