I acquired this truck about a year and a half ago truck was in pretty rough shape when i started.




Tore it down and scored a donor cab from lkq



While the front clip was off went ahead and installed lt's pac springs and a comp 275hr cam and comp push rods

 

nice man, from the first picture i didnt think it was going anywhere but the new cab looks good. Nice shop your workin out of too, keep updated on this build

 

Put the front clip on the truck and shaved the stake pocket holes on the bed and molded in a roll pan and started on the body work.






Then got the truck painted and started some reassembly

 

Then put the bed on the truck and put the tahoe 20s i had for it on.



Aslo put 4.11s and a yukon lsd in the rear along with a new cover.

Some drilled and slotted rotors and ss brake lines.


ANd a 40k trans cooler

 

Completely re dyed all of the interior plastics



Aslo re did the seats in katskinz leather



And hd front end all mocked up ready for paint.

And smoothed and painted the engine covers



Also put in a 3200 stall and transgo hd shift kit.

Still have to finish some interior work and have the truck tuned and dynoed and have the exhaust finished up, plans are to at the first of the year do a front mount turbo on the truck.

 

Damn that is clean. Just goes to show it doesn't matter how bad it gets, it can always be brought back to life. I actually use that as an excuse, if it is all messed up then you can make it how YOU want it.

Anyways nice truck and don't crash it and make it look how it started again!!!!

 

dammn you went to town on that thing. i love the hd hood, im thinkin about a trip to the scrap yard for one.and is that a tahoe front bumper?

 

No plans on wrecking it haha and front bumper was off of a silverado.
