well yes its for the look, im going old school and channeling it. Not completly laying to the rockers but just a little lower than normal, and different. Its not just being built for all go and no show, got to have a mix of both

basically I hate how the frame hangs below the body, so this way the frame only hangs below 3/4" instead of 2 3/4" i know you're not big into this aspect of customizing, (real low to the ground, bags ect) but I building my truck for more than just performance. Otherwise I would have done coilovers and been a strict track truck

yea it is alot of work, but I know in the end the final product will be off the hook, so Im keeping a positive outlook on everything. I hope this weekend I can get the rest of the fab work done or close to it. basically everything but the pan hard, Ill order that next week so I can make sure I can order it to perfect length.

Going to be ordering my torsion brackets for the bags up front this week, along with a new paint gun and the final paint for the frame. After that I need to send my 14bolt out to be narrowed. Then bodywork will start and wheels will come hopefully soon.

what are you going to do for the trans and motor? our tunnels arent big enough to accept 2" without interferences. so yourll be raising the entire floor of the truck? how about the fire wall, a radix or truck intake wont clear in there being dropped 2"

the firewall is fine, i could fit the intake with 3" theres alot more room than you think. no Im not raising the whole floor, thatd defeat the purpose of dropping the mounts, instead Ill just raise the tunnel a little bit. But I wont do that till I have the 80e to fit accordingly. If I had the stock tank evap abs ect Id have to clear for that but I dont. Youll see it as I progress

looking at my truck and thought of your project. so youll be modifying the tunnel and floor to account for the frame?
