well as you guys know that frame is finished, and the frame jig is now built. Pictures to come soon, and I should be ordered some mandrel bends next week for the new full tube chassis.

 

Damn your going all out, are you doing a cage too? Nice work by the way.

no cage, street truck for now at least.

 

put a cage in is when you get scared driving it on the street, which won't take long .

 

haha, just don't want to go threw the back window on a truck I'm going to drive all the time.

Well I picked up some 4x4x.120 wall tubing for my frame table. Cut it down and built a table 4'x16'x2' high. Level and square, ready for welding.


Used some plates to keep it flat while welding


Cut some pipe I had laying around for legs

Measuring and squaring, and marking to blue print my mandrel front rails and getting ready to jig this frame

Hold it in place, keeping points for new frame

8* pitch backwards on the upper arms, if anyone was interested.

Bodymounts located, I'll drill the wholes when the cab is ready to go on to make sure they're perfect.

 

This 1x1 represents the bottom of the new frames height, behind the cab. it will curve up and continue that plane instead of notching.
