I don't make everything pretty by any means but that plate looks like hell. Why is the bottom all fucked up? Also those 90* angles aren't good for a stress point either!

Not trying to stir the pot but I don't see what most of the people are so upset about calling it at absolute death trap. I realize the link bar should be sleeved so it doesn't cut through bolt and being a non triangulated link system it needs a pan hard bar. Everything else I see is people calling it a death trap with no explanation. The link mount to the frame seemed OK to me. Is the pan hard bar and sleeve the only problems or am I missing something? Obviously the "spring perch" seems to need some attention but that is new and not part of the big argument yet.

P.S. I didn't see if you were planning on different tires soon or not but those tires look retarded.

I've tried to say that this truck is unsafe more than once, but I really just give up. Darwinism is alive and well. Good luck.

if he kills himself it will be a shame. If he kills someone else it will be a tragedy.

I'm genuinely trying to make a point. I think we all got carried away before about it, but I'm really trying to get through to this guy. Because, if he ends up dead over a damn rigged suspension, and I didn't say anything (knowing that the suspension is dangerous), that would be sad on my part. I'm not insulting the fab work and creativity, but there comes a point where you've got to draw a line.

Well said, all we can do is offer advice, what he does with it is on him.

This setup is for fun right now. Night before last I found a narrow 9 complete 4 link and back half. If I can get the my buddy that owns the shop I borrowed to come off it then this will get scrapped and the axle will be sold.

I have read this entire thread, and watching it like a train wreck and all i can say is wow. Dude ,please listen to the advice your being offered. Not everything is a flame. From what i have read there are alot of people offering good advice .I have had to repair quite a few trucks with fab work like this.
