Post 1988 Blazer 5.3 Swap

Hello, names Justin. Ive been lurking around the site for a few months. Trying to sponge up all the info I can!

This is my 88' Blazer 5.3 swap project. Been in the works for the last 8 months. Getting closer to be finished.

What I started with. Tired 4.3 2dr 2wd.

After a complete tare down. Chassis has paint, new bushings, rod ends, balljoints, hardware Ect..

The 5.3 w/ headers, and new oil pan for the swap.
Stock for now, but not for long!

The engine in the bay. Have some clearance issues with the heater box and power brake booster. This week, Im addressing the booster problem. Scored a new Hydro-booster last week. Installing the new parts this week.

Thought I would share this with you people. Maybe you might have some ideas, or see something I've over looked.

dude rock that paint job for ATLEAST 5 races id love to see their face when they get smoked by a lil ole red beater! i use to have an 86 s10 went from the 2.8 to the 305 it was never finished

Thats the plan! The frame is the only thing for now that has paint!!

my beater isnt even getting paint, or a new front bumper. plus im keeping it on mud tires lol
