Come to think of it, ive only seen a misfire issue not be a plug or wire when an exhaust valve is bad. That usually only happens after significant engine damage. So if a misfire randomly starts, chances are its a plug or wire.

I'll keep that in mind. As soon as I pulled up he was like dude this truck sounds like ****, I'm like wtf are you talking about. So he makes me drive it for a bit, pulls in the drive way then he immediately got his temperature gun and put it on the runners and found which one was colder than the others. Probably routine for you guys on here but that blew my mind lmao.

Had a little bit too much fun street tuning last night. Funny because I checked air pressure before we tuned, this tire was low, filled it up, street tuned all night then on the way to work the next day it blew. Guess it was running low for a while before I noticed. Oh well atleast it didnt blow when I was doing 120-130 lmao

I have a temp gun but I find touching the runner for a fraction of a second at startup works just as well

Other than that is decent I guess. Im spending another car payment in misc **** every month so hopefully by the end of next month I can pick up a daily, take a few months off the truck and get ready for another round of mods

Nothing new to report really, been driving it every day beating the **** out if it. I need a locker BAD, the g80 only locks like 1 out of 5 launches and I end up leaving alot of one wheel peels. Hopefully by the end of the year I can get a daily, this thing is stupid expensive to drive back and forth to work. Not sure what I have planned next, maybe locker, gears, and slicks to get it in the 12's then I think after that I wanna move on to a rcsb 4x4 cause this thing is too heavy for how fast I want to go...unless someone wants to buy it before I get to all that, who knows lol

Trucks been away past few months, stored it at a friends shop for winter. While it was there I had him redo the exhaust, 3 inch into a single round xr-1 and dumped. Its quite loud under load lol.

Sounds good with the Borla dude!

I need to redo mine and I was looking at the XR1, but I think I'm gonna actually make it quiet and run a cutout.

It's loud bro. Would definitely recommend quiet exhaust and cutout.

I used to have a 1998 TA LS1/M6/SLP/Longtubes/loudmouth/100 Nitrous Express Wet shot. After I killed the stock Auburn differential, I went with the Eaton Detroit TrueTrac. Best differential Ive ever had, ever.

If I was going to swap my G80 for anything, I would go with the TrueTrac. If you for sure have an open diff, you could go with the Richmond Gear PowerTrax. I had one of these for a little bit too. keeps the axles locked 100% of the time until you go around a corner, then the outside wheel free spins faster than the inside wheel. Its like having a ratchet between your axles but without the clicking.
