Ok cool.. hate to see all that work get trashed..

Even tho i ran mine for a year or two with a regular AN-NPT adapter fitting. maybe thats why it makes so many noises

Mo Update

Transmission is in the truck along with the modified crossmember... t-case is in temporarily so I could get driveshaft measurements... going to the driveline shop after work today... he says he should have them done by tomorrow. Waiting on a couple seals for the t-case that should be in Thursday. Also worked on some mounts for the tranny cooler.

Very Nice!
Are you using the factory fuel Tank?
Saw a guy on one of the forums do a old F100 or F150 gas tank where the spare tire goes and it gave him an extra 18ish gallons. Something like that with the factory 26gallon, you could get some distance on 44 gallons in that thing.

Planning on a 25 gallon fuel cell with the stock 26.... at 18mpg.. I should have a 1k+ mile range on one fill... I'm hoping for 20+MPG though... so we'll see.

18MPG is damn good for those heavy SUV's, but with everything sorted out and tuned, you should see 20+MPG on average.

If I had a 4BT, I'd be torn between all-out power or build for high efficiency (without having to drive like a hypermiling ******* all the time)

Lol... well it'll be an inbetween build.. I'm shooting for 550-600lb. ft. to the pavement which should move the Tahoe pretty good

Anyways..

Drive shaft will be done today... gotta wait on the front for a week or so... cooler is mounted now... and I converted the stock lines from the radiator to -6 AN using 3/8" tube to -6AN adapters from summit racing

Finish plumbing the cooler tonight... install new t-case seals and the rear drive shaft tomorrow... then it'll be ready to fill with fluids and see how it goes. Should be good to test run by Saturday morning.

Anyways... more to come soon.

Hey me and my buddy did the 4bt swap in his 95 rcsb about 2-3 yrs ago he has marine injector custom fuel pin and a hx30 intercooled and it's had 7 in of lift 35s and 3.42 gears with a nv3500 and he still pulls 20-22 mpgs and it moves for a 4 banger lol

So I can't see why u couldn't get 20 either with god tuning etc
