if those are the cheap light cast aluminum drop blocks with hollow centers, you will crush them with any power. they will end up with you in a wreck, or stranded calling for a flat bed. calvert sells some solid billet stackable blocks. I think I have some solid billet blocks in my garage for a s10 I could part with.

I didnt even think of that... They are DJM blocks. There are some ribs on the inside of them Im guessing for a more durable block. Not necessarily the cheap ones but not the pricey ones either... How tall are the ones you have?

I wouldnt trust the djm blocks with real power and a traction bar. I traded my calvert stackable blocks to my brother in law for these 3" aluminum blocks. Not sure what brand they are but they are not thin dirty cast junk like djm. They could be trimmed /drilled to whatever thickness you need. $30? Hell i dont know what they're worth.

This is a djm drop block i've been kicking around the garage. These are new, and never installed. See all of the hairline cracks in the cast?
