This is how it sits now..

End result was 507 whp. Very happy with the outcome. I have a couple of 6.0 motors and am throwing the idea around of swapping the cam in the 6.0 and tossing it in there..

The turbo is very big for this small motor and take a little bit to spool.

I opted to cut the rear section of frame off and move everything on the frame forward versus cutting the middle of the frame and welding it back together.

I think it's on the second page in a link if you want pictures..

I used all the measurements on gmupfitter.com.
The conversion came out perfect, didn't even need it aligned!

Moved the leaf spring mounts forward

Here the rear section has been cut and is laying on the ground.
The leaf spring perch mounts are now in the correct location and mounted

Hope this helps. I did this in my attached garage on my house!
Used a miller 211 mig welder to weld the mounts, relocate the gastank strap support bar etc.
I have since put around 6000 miles on it and haven't had any issues yet

Did you have to make any new mount holes for the bed in the frame or move any of the mounts?

Did you flip the rear brace around so you can still mount a spare tire under it?

I moved the second bed mount and did have to drill new holes in the frame,
All the locations are given on gmupfitter.
I opted to not re-install the bar for my spare tire but it is easily done by moving the bracket forward.
