Much apreciated mane. I have the overload removed as well which probably gives you nearly another inch on a z-85. However, the pre-load on my hellwig traction springs combined with my giant (8*) pinion shims almost negated that. Needs another inch out back imo.

Build is moving forward! Had a trans shop start on my trans friday..
what turbo cam should i get?
i will have a 26-2800 stall converter with my 4l8oe, and i want it to sound kinda nasty at a idle, but not over cammed with my stall...
getting there! picked up my trans today. I just need time to install all my goodies!

Truck is at the following stage:
Circle d 2800 stall installed
4l80e Trans installed
Frame chopped to 119" wheelbase
3/4 drop kit ordered
Kb log sitting on shelf
76mm Chinese turbo on shelf
60lb Siemens injectors on shelf
Universal inter cooler kit on shelf
Bed is off to get painted this weekend
Hope to have the truck driving by the next couple weeks
Still needed to be done:
Balance the drive shaft I cut down and welded
Finish drilling holes for new bed location
Mount receiver hitch and bumper
Install large fan powered Trans cooler
Jock bitches, slap hoes......

Update: mounted the bed for the last time today.
Driveshaft doesn't vibrate at 100+mph so I'm not going to get it balanced.
I just dropped it off tonight to get the bed painted.
I just ordered the 2/4 drop kit and as you can see in the pics below it needs it!

Installed the following:
a triple 12 cam and matching springs
Melling high volume oil pump
Double roller timing chain
KB turbo manifold
Godspeed GT45
Tial MVR wastegate
Stainless 4" down pipe
Magnaflow 4" stainless muffler
Tial Knock off BOV
Derale remote Trans cooler
Godspeed 31x12x3 intercooler
Deka 60# injectors
Walbro 450
Aem wideband
Ls1 fans
