It would have been way cleaner to just use a Tee fitting for the fuel pressure sensor.

I highly recommend some turbo blankets for the turbos, even "bad" ones will help tremendously with underhood heat.

To be honest not as loud as you would think. I think a muffler that has a lot of drone is louder inside. Now on the outside it's a different story it's just plain loud. You mainly hear all turbo whistle. I can talk normal and listen to music going down the highway no problem when the windows are up, when it gets into lock up it quiets down a lot. I still have every intention to put down pipes on the truck and route the exhaust to the back but for now doesn't bother me at all.

I did this at 2am and didn't have one at the time. I got some new fittings coming with my JEGS order Friday. Turbo blankets are on the list as well.

I know I could not get away with that loud here.

Very cool. Thanks for posting. Didn't even know such a product existed. Shows how much I mess with big power intank pump stuff. lol

Stock untouched fitting on the left vs one after matching it to a -10 fitting. Plenty of material thickness left on the threads of the -8 side. Basically turned the suction to a true -10 AN (⅝) size. Will it make a difference? Hell if I know but hopefully it helps. Oh also don't mind my ugly fingers lol I had just cleaned the parts off with some brake clean and got some on my hands.

If you get the -ORB fittings from Magnafuel the actual ID is much larger. Most people don't understand and get all worked up when Magnafuel tells them to feed the pump with a -12 but shows the 4303 to use a -8 fitting on the website and in the instructions. What these people don't realize is that the -8 ORB is much larger than a regular -8. Clear as mud, I know. Why they don't post that info in bold letters on their site, I don't know.

Hmm good to know I didn't know that. I had some spare ORB fittings so I just used what I had and modded accordingly to match the stainless sock.

Completely off subject but have you or anyone's else had any issues with a brand new Magnafuel pump? Mine was brand new ordered it from Summit and when I went to install it the first time the damn thing wouldnt run. It was locked up and just made a clunking sound. It came filled with oil and had the red caps still on the inlet and outlet when I pulled it out of the box. I losened up the inlet cap on it and put power to it and it ran great, but as soon as I would tightened down on the inlet cap to the gears it would lock up. It's like it was machined wrong or something. I ended up taking off just a bit of material from the shafts that the gears connect to and it worked. Pump at first sounded like it was under a lot of load at 55psi but is loosening up some because it's starting to run louder and faster. At idle I have had to lower the base pressure down a few pounds for the third time now so seems like it's pumping better and at a higher rpm. So far holding steady so I thinks it's loosened up as much as it's going to. I got a second one coming so I'll swap it with another brand new one and see what that one does.

I'd pull the post filters off now and see what is going on there.

Regarding the pump, never heard of an issue like that. Obviously there is a pump/gears clearance problem if what your saying is true. Unfortunately, getting anyone at Magnafuel to listen to you now after you have machined their pump/gears isn't gonna happen, right or wrong.

I'd definitely pull it back apart and check the filter cause you still have something going on there.

Yeah I'm not gonna bother Magnafuel about it, I got it to work and anyways got the new one coming in tomorrow. Ill inspect the old pump when I pull it back out. So far the post filter looks good.

Weird. I would have bet money that you'd see some material in the post filter after the way you described it.
