Hopefully your right I would love to hit 1200. Weakest part of my motor is rated at 1500 which are the rods so will see how much my setup actually puts down. I really have no idea what to expect out of this motor as everything has gone a little over board but makes it that much more exciting! Biggest worry is the drivetrain as it is going to have to be pretty stout to handle the power but also the weight.

Not much of an update but got a few of the parts in to finish up on the motor. What surprised me is that it is actually cheaper to order parts with Texas Speed if you call them rather then order them online. I saved right around $100 just calling them. Same parts so idk what that is all about lol? Anyways my Cometic MLS gaskets were on back order so there being shipped directly from the factory so expecting them Monday. The head gaskets are the LAST thing I needed to start putting the motor together and installing it in the truck. Oh well that's hot rodding for ya. Got my ARP 12 point head studs and LS7 lifters in tho. Gotta say ARP sure does stuff alot in these boxes lol.
