Default Quick Question

I Have 2001 Gmc With A New Engine On It I Got It From A 2006 Suburban It's A 5.3 And It's Running Great. I Just Bought A Nitrous Kit For It And Plan On Spraying 75 Shot. I Want To Know If It Will Be Safe For My Engine. My Current Mods Are... Cai, 862 Port And Polished Heads, Yellow Springs, Elec. Fans, And 3 In. Exhaust With Magnaflow Bullet and 373 gears. On my tranny, i just have a corvette servo. So What Do You Guys Think???

Btw Thanks For The Suggestions.

Wet or dry kit? Do you have any sort of tune on the truck? Either way, I think you'll be perfectly fine with that size shot on it.

Agreed. you should be fine with the 75 shot, i might put a shift kit in the tranny just as a little insurance. the tune should be good for 75, but if you wanna go more like 100 or 125, you should get a good custom tune to up the tranny pressure and pulll a little timing. i spray 125 into my 5.3 and it takes it fine, if i had the jets i woulda tried 150, but the tranny is the weak link in these trucks. Have Fun
