Default Is a 100 shot safe?

ok guys so im new to the whole nitrous thing, never messed with it at all, but i have been thinking about maybe putting a 100 shot on it for this wed night because im heading to the 1320. and my buddy has a whole 150shot dry kit, and he wants me to try it out wed, and he says that it wont hurt anything so i was wondering would it hurt my truck if i just sprayed it once with out tunning it with a stock bottom end, teh mods are in my sig and i figured it would run real well with a few extra horses! so tell me what you think

what tune is in the truck right now?
Stock tune is fine to run a 100shot but if you have a hot tune already you might need to lower your timing a bit to run it...

whats it at right now?
normally you see around 26-29degrees for 100shot but 29 is the highest...26 would be safer for sure.

I noticed in your sig you didn't mention you have injectors. With a dry kit and your mods, that would be something to look into.

Back off on the timing to around 26*, put in some tr6 spark plugs, 8.1L injectors, and hit it with no jet in the nozzle.
