There are a couple of different setup that you could run and be happy with.

The one that most people like is the plate system that goes behind the throttle body. It would come with a set of our lightning series solenoid and would be adjustable from 35-350hp so it will support as much horse power you want.
GM LS 3-BOLT NITROUS PLATE SYSTEM WITHOUT BOTTLE

The other setup that is very popular is our proton plus system. It uses a single nozzle that goes into the intake tube right before the throttle body. It will go up to 150hp and is very simple to install.

Here is a link to the Proton system.

Call $ummitt and order a NOS system!

Just kidding, nitrous outlet or NX will get you taken care of. I would stick with a nozzle as it will save some cash and easily flow 150+ of nitrous. The plate is a nice upgrade but no need for most guys unless you just have extra cash. I would spend the extra cash on a bottle heater, remote opener, or other item that will be much more usefull.

Is the proton "modual" rebuild able? I guess it is because it reminds me a the Zex box and I like separate noids.

plate > nozzle IMO. hits much harder in my experience. I've only tried the nitrous outlet plates and loved it. never tried the NX plate but I used the NX solenoids and never had an issue with those either. mine was a hybrid I guess. both companies will steer you in the right direction.

There was a full right up done comparing the NX90mm plate to the nitrous outlet 92mm plate. Turns out the 90mm NX plate was actually bigger than the 92mm outlet plate. Both make quality parts. Nitrous outlet has some of the smallest size Noids in the industry while still flowing big numbers. A lot of it is personal taste, but the kit I would choose is NX. A single nozzle would work fine especially on a budget. A plate system is more efficient with bigger capacity. Comes down to budget and end goals. If you won't ever spray more than 100shot stick with the nozzle. Also do not buy a dry shot system unless you will never spray more than a 50shot. The proton kit is probably the easiest kit to install in the industry. However, be careful to keep the box away from heat as it can get cooked. Now that I have sufficiently confused you have fun.

The nitrous/fuel module. It's a little black box in the kit.
