Default nitrous question ????

i been wantin to add nitrous to my truck and i have a kit but not sure if it is complete bought it from a friend awhile back it has the throttle switch, bottle, soleniods fuel and nitrous, window switch, fuel lines,relay and nozzle do i need anything else??? if i dont is there anyone in houston that can help me install it cause i really dont want to pay like 350 to get it installed!! another question is do i need to change my spark plugs? if so what is the best to get?what else would i have to do to the truck to get it nitrous ready?? its an 06 with a 4.8. thanks in advance

make sure you have a long enough nitrous line to mount the botle where you want, and you should probably get a warmer to go with the kit. i dont know much about the window switches, but it seems like you have everything for an install. depending on how much you spray, you are going to wan to go with a colder set of plugs. one heat range colder should do, but if your gonna spray over a 100 shot, 2 colder couldnt hurt.

bottle heater will be needed...ngk tr6 are the norms

+1 my ZEX kit has one built into the controller so thats a little piece of mind i am thankful for.

I think a window switch should come before the bottle heater if funds are limited. Your tranny will last longer too.

tarinitup is right, better inurance for your money with the window switch. trannys are expensive

I Alredy Got An Msd Window Switch So All I Need Is A Bottle Heater And Plugs Now I Have To Find Someone To Install It

its pretty easy to do yourself so it might be worth a try to save some money. i started my install and i was gonna have a shop finish it if i got in over my head, but i didnt have to. i did my buddies kit for him to. give it a try, ou can always have it finished later if you want.

It's easy just allow yourself plenty of time to do it correctly...
