Default Intrested in a Nitrous Kit for my 2003 Z71

I'm intrested in a Nitrous Kit for my 2003 Z71 5.3. I want a safe kit, and from what I've researched, the dry shot seems to be the ticket. Can any of you pros or sponsors chime in and advise me of what I need and how much I'm looking at to invest?

i am not a fan of the dry shot but you can pick up a kit for around 350 to 400

Almost everyone on here will tell you to run a wet shot. If you want a safe setup, run a window switch, fuel pressure safety switch and make sure you have your tune retarded for nitrous.

My nitrous kit wet kit may be up for sale very soon if interested. I'm planning on asking $350 which included bottle heater, window switch, all lines, relays, solenoids, nozzle, and arming switch. The only things you'll need are a WOT switch and a FPSS if you feel you need it.

That's a really good deal! I'm just a bit iffy about a used kit (no offense to you or your kit) because I have a used wet kit and I dosen't hit right. And when it does hit, it don't hit correctly. It'll hit maybe 1 out of 5 times, and when it does hit....I got bad, bad traction problems. So...I just took it off.

I was intrested in the dry kit because I've been told that it's a simple install, fewer parts than wet and I shoulden't need a step pump and all that.

Is this correct? I'm not familiar with nitrous much. I got a 150 NX wet kit on my Z28 but I didn;t do the install and all I do is drive the car...lol. I do all my own work (since I work at a GM shop) but I don;t do NOS. I've never installed a NOS kit.

So...I need you guys to guide me please...

I'm running 150 dry without a problem. I don't see why everyone thanks dry is the devil. Just upgrade the injectors for dry.

My friend has dry and it works awesome and is cheaper on the wallet...I went wet though a plate and that is $$$ but My 2nd stage WILL be dry. Just get bigger injectors and hit it with 150 like speedy stated. Also, you will need a good tuner. Good luck.
