Default help w/ my nx kit

a friend of mine who owns a salvage yard found a sweet nx wet kit in the trunk of a car that about to be crushed. luckily he gave it to me. the kit contains a single nozzle wet kit, an automatic bottle heater w/ bottle mounted transducer, and a purge kit. i know i need to purchase a fuel press. safty switch, some type of wot/window switch, and some guages. my questions are what wot/tps/window switch should be used? im sure there are better ways than putting a micro switch behind the gas pedal. not really sure what guages are ness. either. i know a wideband is needed but not sure about fuel and nitrous press guages. is a fuel press guage needed w/ the safty switch? and if so should i get and elec. to mount in the cab? is the nitrouns guage onthe bottle going to be enough or should i have one in the cab aswell? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks Mark

almost forgot to ask what size shot is recomended? looks like the kit is rated up 150hp. mods are in sig and ill be going back to vengance for the tuning.

what vehicle is the kit going on?

if you run a fuel pressure safety there really is no NEED to run a fuel gauge unless you just want to monitor it, the safety switch will turn off the nitrous if fuel pressure gets too low. there is a tps switch you can run instead of the micro switch that will detect electronically when you go WOT through the tps signal

Wow, Great find..

I would look into our windowswitch with built in TPS activation. A windowswitch is the best piece of insurance you can buy.

The stock bottom end can safely handle a 150 shot. However with the mods you have listed I would suggest upgrading the fuel pump.

A fuel pressure and nitrous pressure gauge are the two most needed gauges. The fuel pressure safety witch is designed to help shut the system in the event the fuel pump failed. However it is not there to make up for not having enough fuel pump.

A wide band is a great tuning tool. YOu can either put on eon the truck or strap the truck down on a dyno to tune.

If this system is an older system you need to change the piston out in the fuel solenoid. The older solenoids do not have pistons rated to handle todays pump gas. If you need help determaining which piston you have please shoot me a pm and I will walk you through it.
