Default Dry system with factory air box.

I know I know before everyone says forget the dry system and stick with a wet kit, already have a dry kit and I'm gonna stick with it.

I know not very many people out there in PT land don't have dry systems, but I am looking for some info from those who do.

I was just wondering if anyone had a dry set up with the factory box. pics would be great.

IIRC if you spray through the maf your pcm will add fuel as needed, You could get an air filter with a metal "endcap" and tap it. Or if the plastic is thick enough you could tap and epoxy. Also its pretty stealth when the noid gets mounted in the cai box...either way start out with a small shot and work your way up to whatever your injectors can handle

I actually have my own system. I spray after the MAF and use the HSW Interface to adjust for the extra fuel and to pull timing. And I have a cold air intake. I was just wondering if anyone ha ever done a dry system with the factory box. I tought I saw a 2500HD on here that did but I cant find it now.

I need the same thing.... Just picked up a wet system today but a lil sketchy on installing it on my sweetheart I thinking about just running it dry in my stock airbox... Just how much can it take till you know your injectors are being overworked?

Stock fuel injectors are good up to about a 100 shot dry. I've heard of people going 125 but I wouldn't go over 100.

Nothing wrong with a dry kit. I run one along with the DP system. The dry is great for the street IMHO when you are looking for a small shot. I have mine pilled for a 75 shot which gives just a little kick on the ol' 408.

that looks nice! i have a volant intake thats similar to that intake box. wonder how a 100 dry shot through the maf feels compared to a 100 wet kit placed in front of the tb?
