There is several Colorado 5 cyl. guys running good numbers at the track with some nitrous.

I was at the track running 13.2s in my truck and a Colorado guy was out there with a 125 shot (thats what he said anyways) making 12.7 passes.

GM makes them with a 5.3/4L65E already, but it isn't available in a regular cab.

Yep. I just bought a new truck and did my research. If they had a 6L80 available in them, I would probably be driving one right now. The fuel economy rating is better for the 1500 ECSB with a 5.3 and the 6L80 than Colorado with a 4L65.

Sorry for the off topic post.

You will be fine. I think , dont hold me to it. But I remember last year or the year before of a red 5clyinder colorado running a 200 shot , slicks and some other small minor mods and was going 12.0x 12.1x all day long. Was trying to go for "some record". Impressed the hell out of me considering the lack of money dropped in it
