Default 2008 6.0 150 shot enough fuel?

Originally the truck was a 4.8 now its a 6.0 (L76). original fuel pump
2008 rcsb 2wd 6.0
226/234 cam
s3600 stall , stock trans
long tube headers
intake, 90 mm tb, UD pulley
411 gears

question is besides colder plugs. Will my fuel pump hold a 150 wet shot?
was thinking of just adding race fuel and the nitrous kit. So i wont mess with my N/A tune

Your tuner will be able to tell you that as every truck is different. I would think if your not flex fuel then yes your prob gonna need a bigger pump. Race fuel or not your gonna have to adjust timing for the nitrous especially for a 150 shot. Only other option is do the iat trick and have a switch on the fly NA/nitrous tune.

You can't just swap the truck to a flex fuel easily if that is what you are talking about.

I would not run a 150 shot without adding a fuel pump! A Walbro 255 is about $100 and solid insurance you will have enough fuel. There are plenty of wright ups and it is nearly drop in to the stock fuel sending unit.

When adding power always ere on the side of caution. Not having enough fuel with nitrous means you will quickly be picking engine parts and putting a new engine in your truck.

If you do not want to put a bigger pump in before you install the nitrous, I would put a fuel pressure safety switch on it, that way if fuel pressure does start to fall off it will turn the nitrous system off before any parts are hurt.

The switches are less than $50 which is cheap insurance and you can still run it even after the fuel pump swap, nice safety feature to have.

Any part number on switch? I knew it wasn't a good idea just slapping the bottle on.
Thanks .. For the help guys ..

Another question..
Truck ran 13.1 at 1/4 mile at 104 mph with a shitty 60 ft 2.2..
Now I have a tire set up.. With a 150 wet shot.. What's the outcome ? About a second gained ?

fuel injector connection told me that I would run out of fuel with my setup and a 150 wet.
I got a stealth 340 pump with a hotwire kit and installed it on Saturday and it overpowered my stock FPR so I put my stocker back in. going to do a return setup.
FYI

you would be looking at high 11's most likely not sure what your truck weighs but i would guess 11.6-11.9 depending on weight
