my name is chad and i drive a s10 blazer that im hoping to LQ4 swap by summer time. im used to having "quick" (12 second) cars and i bought the blazer to stop dumping $ into vehicles......yeeeeeaah lol hasnt really worked out lol

Nice to have ya here! You wouldn't be the first one to drop a 6.0 into a blazer. If you check the projects section there a S10 blazer with a 6.0 and supercharger which should be pretty informative for you.

thank you. wow i will have to look into that....sounds pretty nasty. i think i'll be just fine with a 6.0+LS1 intake mani and TB+headers+exhaust+tune. atleast thats what i say now lol this 4.3, while a great motor just doesnt get the truck moving like i want....and since i did the audio system and wheels its gotten worse

Welcome. You should think about the LS6 mani over the LS1. LS6 has better gains over the LS1..

Welcome to the site. +1 for Ls6 over Ls1 if your doing the swap. Not sure if the truck intake would fit.

chad welcome you will find we are a brother hood. most of us get along here and will go out of the way to help others out. if you need anything lemme/us know as fas as soing a swap in a s10 it doable and you should pm Sprayed99 he just did it and that truck is a blast. He is a good guy who good save you some headache in the long run. Stay tuned to truckin cause some day you might just see yourself in is as many have already
