I found out about this forum from Silveradoss.com. I thought I would introduce my self, and tell a little bit about my truck. It was originally a '99 Silverado Z71 but I have always loved the look of the Silverado SS. I cant afford to buy the real deal right now, because I am getting ready to start building a house, so I decided to build a clone. I already have the SS front bumper for the '99 to '02 body style, and am currently looking for the cladding for the truck as well. I have all the cladding for the bed and only have two pieces the the cab so far. The truck was originally maroon in color and needed a new paint job so I decided to paint it black. It still has the 5.3 under the hood and is basically all stock except for a cold air kit, deleted cats, and catback exhaust. I plan to drop in the 6.0 when I get the SS conversion done.
