New guy from Louisiana
See a lot of 225Racetruckers over here so I decided to join up.
I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 RCLB I got about 2 weeks ago after deciding to sell the 95 C1500 I was building. The truck was a 4.8/4L60E with 287k on it. Got it for such a good deal I looked past the long bed to see that I could chop it and still be less than half the cost of a RCSB around here.
The truck is currently at my builders house and will be undergoing a LOW mileage 5.3/4L60E swap with a, what I'd consider, big cam and a PTC 4k stall. I also have Long tubes, ORY and etc going on to. Also picking up some NNBS Tahoe 17s this weekend to run some 265/55/17s on it daily.
My next plans are 4.30s and ValueTrac, then on to chopping the back half to replace it with a shortbed back half and bed, redoing the interior (it's clean, just plain), and lowering with Ridetech coilovers front and rear in the near future because my trucks cant stay stock height.
Long term plans are too long to list, but it'll get the juice and hopefully heads and etc.
Looking forward to learning as I go along here
