I recently bought a 2007 Sierra RCSB WT, 5.3 to turbocharge. Right now looking at KB turbo, cam, truetrac, and 4l80e. My biggest hangup at this point is swapping the transmission. If anyone has any recommendations on a good cam and a shop that will do an 80 swap, comment below. Thanks!

 

Welcome to the site. There is enough info on the site to allow you to do the 80e swap yourself if you have some tools. Where are you from?

 

Thanks. I have read a lot of the threads about the 80e swap. I may attempt it on my own. I am from central Missouri.

Get a few of your buddies together and make it happen! You will bang your head against the wall a few times... but you will learn a TON and be happy you did! I speak from experience.
