Haha thanks X-ray. If I ever get this thing running right, cmon down to my neck of the woods. It’s worth riding in the truck for as big as it is. Gets up and goes at least haha. Not like all the clapped out squatted trucks we see around here lol.

The truck still floats around my town to this day and have thought about asking the guy who owns it now if I could buy it back lol. Either way, if you end up going through with it I’d love to see pics. Hell I’d like to see pics of it now if you’d like to post them!

Cheers!
Good suspension makes all the difference. I have started taking money here and there out of each check and putting it into my savings for a long travel kit. Really having a hard time deciding between a Dirt King kit or a Mazzulla kit up front.

Couldn’t agree with you more on the suspension! I do plan to upgrade to a coilover. I had great luck with my Kings on the first truck I had. I’ve also had great luck with Fox too so I’ll end up going with one of the two. My first lift on my truck was a McGaughy’s 7-9” SS kit. It rode great! When we pulled that kit off it only had like 4,000 miles of pure pavement driving and turned out I had a blown strut. Hence the reason for wanting to upgrade to a coilover. I ended up going to the Cognito 10-12” because I wanted to run a bigger wheel and tire setup in the future as well. I’d really wanna do a 24x16 in something American Force. I love my Specialties and I’d definitely get another set in that size but from what I keep seeing, they appear to be obsolete now so idk if I can get them anymore. Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about the way the Cognito kit rides. The truck lives only on pavement. Might as well be offroad considering how bad the roads are in my area though.

You definitely have a sharp truck! I’ll have to follow along with your build thread to see the long travel kit when it’s done. I’m sure whichever one you decide to get, they’re both proven, so you really can’t go wrong. I also really like the gauge pod for your wideband. Where did you get the pod??

I haven't picked it up yet. Guy on FB makes them. His page is Block8head Custom vent pod. He has some really cool stuff and is pretty reasonably priced.

For sure! They look really clean. I just bought an Autometer A pillar pod for three gauges this past weekend. I plan on running a wideband, boost gauge, and an oil pressure gauge. I want to do a trans temp gauge and a fuel pressure gauge but I didn’t wanna do anything invasive to mount them. His pods look like the answer I was looking for!
