Hi all.
My name is Emily and I am here just to learn a bit more about other parts of the motoring world.
I live in England, but my Mum lives in California and I visit often.
I drive a Skoda Fabia vRS. That might not mean much to you as I don't think you have Skodas in the States. Basically it is a hatchback type car with a 1.9 turbo diesel injection engine, manual with a 6 speed gear box. Producing about 170bhp with about 277 lbs feet of torque. Really love the car, plenty of low down grunt.
Some pictures:
Very dirty diesel!!

So anyway, I will be about asking lots of stupid questions no doubt. Keen to learn what you do to increase the power of your cars.
Speak to you soon

Plans to go to the Neurbergring in Germany in the next few months.
Done an airfield handling day in the past, but it was raining cats and dogs so we spent most of the time huddled around the burger van.
Nice to meet you Zippy.

Skoda is owned by VAG (so Vdub, audi, skoda, seat, lambo etc) and it is based on the same chassis as the polo (one size down from the golf)
In england about half of cars sold are diesel.
