Welcome! LOL the Duramax is a 3/4-1ton Chevy diesel. It probably weighs more than your whole car, or close. That is some good power yours is putting out for that little car for sure.

Thanks, that is great to hear... It is not that little really!!

A friend of mine has a similar car running at about 230bhp. He has started using LPG to increase the diesel burning ability or something.

I am happy with the car all over. In gear acceleration is fab, brisk as anything. I think the 30-70mph figures are the same as the Porsche boxster, and with low insurance and returning 50+mpg on a good run... fantastic.

I am surprised you all have not heard of me already.

I once tried to tow someone off my strut brace (which bent like a drinking straw) and I created a thread in a car forum asking if I had done much damage.

The thread got linked everywhere, and people I meet say 'aren't you that chick that tried to tow off a strut brace'

Very embarrassing!!

EDIT: An Ickle Furbster is what I call my car, that or Sooty.

AND a hood is something you have on your coat, a bonnet is what you have on you car.

LOL - Don't worry, I'm sure most of us have broken things trying to pull stuff out at one time or another! I once put a Ford 4x4 truck through some ice while off-roading - had to get my brothers Jeep to pull me out - shoulda just left it there - he never let me live that down
