Default Decisions Decisions

Hi everyone,

My name is Mike and I'm almost 16. I've been into cars for probably a good 10 years and have grown up in a GM working family. I LOVE Corvettes but since I cannot get one right now or even a Camaro for that matter I have turned to a gift from god *cheap insurance and decently fast* or the STS equipped 5.3 Liter. I know a good deal about cars but I have come to this site to read more about the kit and also to read about GM performance trucks in general. In the following months I plan to ask quite a few questions as I near getting my license or truck for that matter. Anyway, I hope to see you all throughout the forum as I post my knowledge or lack all over this great forum.

Does anyone know off the top of their head the easiest *by that I mean cheapest* way to achieve a 12 second quarter from a STS kit? I'm thinking I may add 226/220 116 LSA cam too. Is this a good choice if I want to run around 9 psi? Thanks in advance
