Hello everyone, I've been on this site a lot in the past few years while I rebuilt a 2004 LQ4, swapped it and a junkyard 4l80e into a 2002 1500 (4.8/4L60e) reg cab/reg box silverado. I also have done an e-fan/rad conversion, and a cam and valve spring swap since the motor swap. I'll be posting a few threads in the near future on some tips and tricks on the mechanical and electrical side of things I found while doing the swap.



This is probably the best picture I'll ever have of the truck, taken in July of 2015 the year after I bought it. A few years of salted road winters have done quite a number on the body- hence the 6.0L Beat'r.
