Default Track run against a late model Lightning

Well, you don't get to see much of the Lightning, but you do get to hear what sounds like a slight sound of a supercharger. I talked to the owner a while when we were lined up in the staging lanes. He had the pulley swap, a dyno tune, intake, exhaust, and he was on slicks. The temps were hot that night, and the times were slow, but it was a good race.......at first.

Actually its really terrible, because my fastest motor time has been a 12.5@105. Since my last tune for higher shift points and injectors swap and the colder plugs, I've been running 13 flat on motor. Granted it is hot as hell, but still not hot enough to lose half a second. Something is bad wrong when I'm only a tenth better on a 100 shot. I've got suspension and traction issues I've got to work out as well. You know...its just rather irritating to say the least.

Nice run. Your mph is good, you must be losing time on the short end, whats your 60ft?

2.0's are his short times. so you can bet there is suspension woe's in the mix which is creating his slower e/t. also, jeremy says the truck wobbles when he takes off.

Previous 60ft was a consistent 1.70-1.80, now I'm looking at 2.0up every time. It's not so much wheel spin down, but I'm getting a TON of swaying action now. The truck feels as fast on motor as it used to, and the 100 shot is REALLY feeling good, but the numbers say otherwise I guess.

12.5 @ 105 on motor is awesome. Are you spraying out of the hole? If so maybe you should try just spraying after your 1st - 2nd shift untill you get your suspension and traction taken care of.

Yep, gotta get the suspension figured out. You lost approx. .45 on the other end with your 60ft being 2.0. Definatley will be in the 11's if you can get the short time down

Looks familar to me for some reason.

Hey Jeremy, I think you need to move your nozzle so it's at least 6" from your throttle body. I think your wasting some of that laughing gas.
