Default lightning vs SSS

http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...t=MOV03587.mp4

here is a horrible video i managed to get last friday. had some issues. the truck didnt want to shift 2-3 and i had to forfit the run. with my 4.10's and loose converter it caused some issues with commanded shift rpm .

the only cool thing is i hooked. no launch at all . off idle with the drag radials. i also tied my best 1/8th mile time.

this is my 10.7 run , look at the 1/8 e/t and mph

this was the fubar run vs the lightning ,

the time was almost identical but i trapped almost 20mph slower because i had let off so much sooner.

only mod changed was drag radials and meth nozzle relocation . also track d/a was around 300 feet and temp was mid 40's

3.73 and a lower stall to come.

That 20 mph difference in the 1/8 mile rattles my brain cage!!
I don't even know what to make of that much gain in the 1/8 mile!!

That's a sick launch, my neck hurt just from watching it!

Must have been a bad mph reading last time. A 7.0 1/8 is usually close to 100 mph.

no they were both correct . the 2nd one i posted was my 10.7 run where the trans shifted fine and i ran it out. the other is when it didnt shift and i had to let off early . my guess is the mph would have been the same has it shifted but .2-.4 faster in e/t

Yep that would have been a 10.5 at least maybe 10.4x.
