Default Boom!

Coming home from work last night I got a couple runs in with my buddies 96 vette. First race was from a dig, spun just a little out of the hole so he jumped almost a car on me at the start. I hooked up and reeled him in and had almost 2 trucks on him until about 80 when we shut it down. I should have called it quits then. We merge onto the highway and line up at about 50 and take off. I pulled a fender instatnly and hung there until 100, then slowly put a little more than half a truck until 120+. Then al of a sudden BOOM!

I know I shouldnt have pushed it that far, but I was winning! I've had it up to 115-120 a handful of times and everytime it would be in the back of my mind. Oh well, if your going to play your going to pay right? I have a yanktt3000 in there now and wanted to upgrade to a 3800 stall so it looks like now is the time. I just hope the internals of the transmission are ok. Trans has less than 2000 miles on it.

I seriously doubt anything in that transmission is good.

Yeah just a little. I'd be really mad if I lost on top of all that!

Yeah it would get a slight vibration around 120 and I would let off. Guess I was to into the race last night and didn't feel/think about the vibration and kept pushing it.
