The truck is almost in a bind on dry pavement when 4wd is engaged. AWD is alot more forgiving due to the viscus coupling that eases the tention between front, and rear diff.

My truck picked up 3mph in just the 1/8 mi just by running in 2wd. Also was with an unspooled launch.
Thanks! I'm gonna try some 28in drag radials in 2wd next time and see if that picks up any.

I think auto 4x4 will break something because the back wheels will spin first then the front snaps in.Gears might help but I'm not changing both front and rears since we need to use 4x4 for off-roading.That is a lot of cash for the minimal gain.

Congrats on the new best! I say that is a great time for having a small stall, small cam, and being 4WD.

Ever thought of raising it up? I would think that thing would pull all the way to 6800-7000.
