Your surprised that it only ran a 8.21? It ran a 12.96 in the 1/4 before with only an 8.27 1/8th mile time. It's a 4660 lb truck, a 3000 yank 11in TT towing converter, With 32in tires, with a 1.89 60ft, That we tow My Trans Am to the track with, daily driver...I think it ran pretty darn good for what it is!

A cammed and stalled 6.2 in a single cab truck running an 8.2 is far from stellar IMO. Don't get me wrong it is still fast for a truck, but I've got a cammed 5.3 ECSB that runs the same time as that... I know there are plenty of variables with track times, and definitely not hating on your truck, but there has got to be more in that thing N/A.

You're comparing a 4k 9.5" billet stall to a 3k reworked stock converter?

And a little gutless 5.3 to a L92 6.2L

You can't tell me that motor doesn't make a lot of power. And my converter is closer to ~3600 than 4k, at least with this bigger cam in it.

It does have more in it... with a loose converter like you have and smaller tires it could go way faster n/a. It has strong mph...its the 1.89 60ft because of the converter for towing. It's very tight. It is a 4x4 also...what does your truck weigh? This truck was built to tow with...so for what it is it runs strong!
