well I figured id post this for one im bored and two I still cant believe this truck of mine will not die.... its a little clip from a stoplight, i think the trans has 80% TM left on it.

mods in sig, stock engine and trans.... just replaced the open diff that had some 3.42 for a eaton LSD and 3.73... last week, woke it up a little

I've got 216k on my '02 and just dropped it off for a trans rebuild. It just barely started to slip, has 40% TM removed. I even dogged it on the way to the shop and it would NOT slip!??!! Got to give major props to GM!!! One of these days I'll finally get rid of the G80.

 

yeah im surprised! dont know its past or anything picked it up with 193k and put it to ya this way I have yet to not give it hell when driven- oil pressure is starting to change though (lower)



Yeah my trans has been weird lately it seems like its dieing but then some days its barking tires.... I wonder if the trans not getting over 150 degrees is why its lasted as long as it has.... Going to a FLT lvl 4 in it in a couple months when the motor swap is done in mid april if not sooner. That eaton LSD I put in is BAD *** no complaints here! Big diff... from open to LSD

 

What motor you going to? 6.0?

 

I was- but came across a 5.3 under 5k for $500 (long block with ls1 cam and ls6 springs) so figured what the hell, cam it and mill the heads a little and see what It can do for a NA motor! Sold all my toys need a new Hobie- 6.0 is for down the road!

After seeing what this motor can do thinking about 243 heads milled and see what the diff is but if money is good when the time comes might just put it towards a 6.0 we will see..... you doing anything? this project was supposed to be a summer build not a winter one - money was good- till now
