2010 SS vs 2011 5.0
Not 2 trucks but its hard to pass up posting a vid of the almighty 5.0...
Well, I met up with some friend at the local strip to make a couple 1/8th passes and I finally get a chance at a 5.0. I watch him run his quickest pass was .15 quicker than mine, but it was close enough I wanted a shot.
Camaro is bone stock, stock tire, tune only auto.
Mustang has a tune, cai, borla cat back, and dr's on a stick car.
Line up in staging lanes, he busts out laughing and hands his "bro" his camera and says "hey get this **** on camera hahahahaha" blah blah. I get a little steamed knowing his best pass would be quicker than my best, but thats why you race anyways.
I beat him about a car or so to the end, can't remember 1/8 times and their slip system was JANKY!! I believe his best pass was a 8.1x to my 8.2x You had to go to the tower and hope it was in the bucket and that no one grabbed it by mistake...lol.
Word of advice, practice more, talk less....enjoy.

Thanks guys. Mod for mod, I will be faster than him. As it sits his car HAS e.t.'d quicker than mine. BUT not this time! BWAHAHA. Its almost like karma, cocky as ****. It was funny cause him and his bud in a cobra parked away from everyone else.
He had an excuse......"I jumped it on the start THEN I spun all the way thru 3rd" LMAO, I just said..."cool, car runs pretty good" and went on about my way. Then a couple of fellow mustang guys were sent over to scout my car I guess. They were asking me my mods etc. I told em it was stock and I had tuned it. Popped the hood, showed em. Said look im even on the stock pirellis and Im an auto.
They just walked off...lol

NICE!!!!!!!!!!! idk why every time i see or talk to an owner of a new 5.0 they are too cocky? but im glad you shut him up
