1.9 60' time....34 second 1/4 mile ET!!! tranny failure video
It finally happened
stock 4L60E + cam'd 6.0L + 5,000lb truck + 1.9 60' = tranny go boom

I think it would have been a 13.2-13.3 pass. I ran a 13.64@100mph with a 2.1 60' last week...this was a 1.9 60' - so I'm guessing it would have been lower 13's?
Now for the failure description...it sounded like the driveshaft fell out and clunked all the way down the track even after I shifted into nuetral. I managed to get it back to the pits even after stopping to pick up my timeslip. It would free spin then catch and pull then let go then catch and pull. Once I stopped in the pits, it wouldn't move any more. In gear it just free spins and the speedo reads mph. In park you can still push it around.
I bought an FLT level 4 lastweek, but FedEx hasn't delivered it yet - talk about great timing?

I hated hearing it too, that was a horrible ride down the track. It wouldn't quit banging, clanking, snapping....damn it was painful to have to listen to that.
It's the rearend, I looked at it today and the driveshaft spins, but the truck doesn't move.
