Harness is in but I need to put all the fluids in, put in a tune, make a battery box, run the new battery cables, install the starter, get a trans shift cable bracket, exhaust and some other small stuff. Nothing real big but I want to take some time and do it right, plus it is 30* in my shop right now. I might do some welding on the exhaust and the battery box this week. I also am thinking of redoing the trans cross member for more room for the 3" exhaust. I want to run true 3" duals in to an X pipe and it would make it a little easier if I changed it up some.

Always something...

I did get new tires on my H2 wheels I plasti-diped for my Duramax:
wheels with caps (I need the stock lugnuts to get them on)

None yet, but I will be trying to work on it some this week after work because of you and your motivation. lol

I think I will try and get the battery box done and might try and do all of the fluids too. Those should be good goals for this week. My birthday is on the 20th so I doubt I will have the truck done by then...

was that the factory 7.5" diff I saw you using?
did you try finding another one?
I spent probly 6 months checking weekly and I lucked out one day and found myself a 2wd blazer rear diff which is the 8.5" and directly bolts in! you could always do the exploder 8.8 too, then itd come with 4.10s!
i'm pretty jelly of your dime though, makes me wish I started with the go on mine instead of the show. but good job man, I like it!

I have 100% no updates. lol It has been so cold here that I have no desire to go work in the shop. It's not like I could or would drive it now anyway with snow on the ground so I am pushing this thing back until it warms up. It will prob. be spring but if I work on it I will post up.

dammit...i was kidding about having my pickup running before yours. grab a space heater and get to work. it's almost done! then you can sit in the cab with the heater on blast and listen to it run....maybe make some race car sounds with your mouth while hugging those make believe corners
