let us know what the final numbers are. Im tossing up the idea of doing a cam on my truck w the marine intake. poppets are starting to leak a little. sounds like you need some headers and y pipe to let the motor breathe. with the mods on my truck i feel like mine puts alot down for a completely stock 4.3. hung with a older 350z auto till 3rd gear.

i actually have full exhaust. jba shorties, 2.25 inch y pipe no cats, to 3 inch pipe, straight through muffler. whenever the time comes to rebuild this motor its gonna get the marine intake for sure. i kinda want the aluminum brodix heads too. and maybe even a 10.5 compression ratio. and some nitrous too.....

ill be sure and let yall know what the final numbers are. its happening on the 30th.

Oh ok. Didn't know you had all of that done to it. Those numbers seem very low to me. Then again I've never had mine on the dyno either. I need to get up there to doc and get mine tuned. Id like to get some shortys and a y pipe for mine.

Hopping up a 4.3 is like entering your one legged friend in an *** kicking contest. He'll hate you and end up getting his assed kicked. But we've all done it at some point. But then we all said......screw this a V8 is cheaper, easier to mod, and more effective modded.
