3.42 gears to 4.10??? Is it worth it?

The stars are aligning against me or something. I bought VHP tuner from a guy on this forum to tune some things including the 4.10's. Well that has been lost by the post office. The tracking number he was given doesn't even show up in the system. Same day I ordered a new PCM tuned for my new mods. Well the tuner was out of town and took a couple of days for him to get back and get it done. It was finished and shipped, from TX. Well, hurricane Rita took care of the Friday delivery date. It has been pushed back to Tuesday. It is sitting in GA right now and should arrive as scheduled. So as of now, it's still runnin like crap and I still have to turn the Traction Control off to drive and the dash is lit up like a Christmas tree with false lights. I did punch it from a stop the other day and chirped the 24's, that's no small task. More to come Tueasday night, I hope.

With a 28" tire do the 4.10's. I have a S10 SBC with 3.73's, I use 3.73s and run 26" slicks and 27" street tires. When I had the 28" MT's on there it cost me a few MPH on the top with the 3.73's. If you are running a TH350 then you should deffinetly run a 4.10 because of the taller first gear, if you are running a 700r then your highway revs wont be that bad anyway with the overdrive.
