Default Mustang Cobra wheels on Ford Explorer.

Hi guys,

Can any one tell me if I can fit 2003 Mustang Cobra wheels on my 2000 Ford Explorer, the cobra wheels have a 5x4.5 or 5x1143 bolt pattern, the offset I’m not sure on.

Hear is a picture of the wheels.

Can any one help?

I believe the 2000 explorer has a 5x4.5 pattern. I don't see the problem?
And like ChevyTruck said. If you have them in your posetion, you could find out in like 10 minutes.

Yes they will fit. If your Explorer is 2wd, you will likely need a ~1/4" spacer on the front so the hub will fit.

That's been the consensus on all my searches. I seen a 5/16 spacer on one but it was a 97.

MY Explorer is 4wd, Will that make a difference, will 1/4" spacer on the front make them fit?

You are not afraid that an unsprung mass will grow. Moreover, midsize suv has little power, you lose a certain amount of power. In addition, an increase in unsprung mass affects the suspension resource - it is designed for a certain load limited by regular wheels.
