just wondering what i should upgrade internally on my 6.0 to ensure that a piston doesnt come flying out when im spinning the engine to 6400+rpms, thx fellas

by the way i know a truck intake starts choking around 6400rpms so im going to upgrade to a ls6 intake eventually

Some guys will say rod bolts like above, but if the tune is dead on you should be fine. I used to spin up to 6600 before the blower, now I only take it to 6400.

Im shifting at 6800rpm on stock rod bolts.... I wouldnt worry about it unless you are going to make alot of power... I would use the $ else where..

the ones for 90.00
those are made from arps 2000 alloy which is suppose to be really strong, hell for 100.00 its cheap insurance.
