What pushrods lenght are you running with Ls7 lifters?

Best to buy a PR length checker just to be sure, Comp Sells them for about $20. Adjust the checker for zero lash and add .075 to determine your overall length. Read the thread I have going in this section might help you a bit, there is also good info on the web and a couple vids on YouTube. Absolute best bet is the Checker though!

get a pushrod length checker and measure to zero lash and add your preload. that. the .050 longer is no BS...but 7.400 will probably still be fine. one day i am going to measure the preload on a bone stock engine and see what GM uses.
