What Intake Did You Using for Your Stroker?
#1
This questions is for guys with truck running stroker 408, 427 engines.
What intake did you use? LQ9, L92, Edelbrock, LS6, FAST90 or what? and Why?
Interested in real world experience not opinions.

I used a truck, ls6, fast 90, and vic jr. Didn't see any results going to ls6 but the jump to fast 90 was nice. It was probably due to the 90mm throttle body mainly cause throttle response and top end was way better. The vic is what I have now mainly cause I had plans for turbo but since I installed a small turbo cam along with it my truck feels almost stock like again. Pulls just a nice as the fast but dies off up top due to the smaller cam I installed.

for a 427 ur looking to go with a fast 90??? try looking into a fast 92mm or better yet a 102mm LSXR... you've already spent loads on the motor, do it right the first time..that way if your thinking about spraying, u won't have any more problems with clogs in the air path in or out...
drop the pacesetters and go for ARH 1 7/8 with the 3 1/2" ORY.... your strangling ur motor

The 102 only works on LS7 heads AIR.
All new FAST 90s are FAST 92s.
I run an LS6 on my NA 427. Looking at the actual intake data, there's not a heckuva a big reason to run justify FAST $$ IMO.
As I said before, definitely do the ARH 1 7/8s and bigger heads

Not a stroker but a 370. I have Vic Jr with a 1375 cfm Fast 4150 4 barrel throttle body..My reason i plan on sprayin a big shot later down the road, a 4150 plate is much cheaper than direct port.

If you are going to swap to L92 heads (as mentioned in other threads) your only options for now are the L92 truck or L76 car manifolds. I'm not sure if the FAST 102mm LSX-R (LS3 version) has been released yet.
