Default What can I expect with this cam on my mods?

Do you guys think this cam will have decent manners on the street? Will there be any lope at idle? I am just hoping it wakes up my maggie. I ordered a blower spacer, put two maggie intercoolers in line with a fan, Kenny Bell boost a pump, took the blower off to get inspected.

It's a good cam for you. I assume you are running a good amount of boost?

It will have a little very faint lope. Enough to tell its not stock for sure, but it will maintain all the manners you want for a DD. The new trend with blower cams is to have a larger exhaust duration, but this one will get the job done well. In a perfect world that cam would have another degree or 2 of advance to push that exhaust valve open even sooner. Just out of curiosity... was this the texas speed cam they listed on here?

It's going to reduce your DCI compared to a lot of cams which is a good thing with a blower, but more important the harder you push it. If you arent pushing it hard it can make the truck feel a little lazy off the bottom. With the 65 gearing and a 2600 converter I don't see that being a problem though.

That is a great great blower cam. The specs should help make great power. It won't be really loud shake the hood off lopey, but it will make a lot more than stock and idle timing will be the bigger effect on how it sounds.

Thanks for the reply guys, just what I wanted to hear. It was a custom grind I had done by Pat G almost three years ago. It's been sitting next to my desk the whole time. I forgot what he told me what I was going to expect. My truck has run so good all these years as it is I chickened out having it installed. Bought a cheap ranger so now I have backup wheels. I am stocked to finally get this thing in!
