Default what cam?

I'm thinking about puting a cam out of a 2000 vette into my truck the cam specs are .500 lift intake and exhaust 198/209 duration. Is this worth my time. Will I notice much of a power increase.

I ran that cam with full bolt-ons and picked up 2/10's and 3 mph

if you are going to do a vette cam i would do the 2002 204/218 LS6. IMO that cam is pretty small as i have the 02 cam and am soon switching over to a 226. if you really want to keep this as a capable torquing work truck you could opt for a 210/216 but i dont think the cam you are talking about is worth your time and money unless the cam is free and you are doing the install yourself.

Anything bigger than the vette cam you originally posted would require a spring change. IMO, that cam isn't worth the effort even if it is free.

NA the cam is a little better then what you have now.
Forced induction now that is a different story with the LSA on that cam being 115.5
