Wanting a new cam.

I don't believe so...the first run was at Englishtown Raceway Park in Old Bridge Township, NJ, and the faster run was at Island Dragway in New Jersey...the weather was better for the quicker run, but I believe that the elevations are similar...

I had a 212/218 low lift in my 5.3 with a Trailblazer converter, and I was not happy with the amount of torque that was lost compared to stock. I was down right disapointed, and that was on 255/70/16, honestly do the converter first. Its acutally gonna be more bang for your buck then the cam will. When the fun from the new converter wears off do a TR220 on a 112...
Maybe its cuz i got a 2wd with no big tires, but i got great gains with the 212/218
I could feel the torque come on with the stock stall i could flat foot it and it hook on the street then at 2500 start spinning all the way till the shift point
Cam and retuned i gained 5mph at the track
yank tt3000 maybe 1 mph gain but 1 full second gained at track because of 60ft capability
Honestly why put a 220 cam when a 212/218 can perform just as good and have better street characteristics
